Always Hungry, 3 Reasons Why It Happens

Did it ever happen to you something like, finishing your meal right now and as soon as you wash your plate, your stomach feels hungry again? I will consider the answer being yes, because that might be the reason you are reading this now. If three hours pass since the last meal, then you are good, but if you ate an hour ago and your stomach is asking more, then you make a few common nutrition mistakes. I will share with you here three tips to make you go from always hungry, to always full.

*First reason for you being always hungry might be that you don’t eat enough fiber, which is one of the most ignored parts of our diets. Many of you keep track of your proteins, carbs and fats, but fiber has equal importance. Keep in mind that a man should take daily about 38 grams of fiber and woman 25 grams. *Second reason is that you don’t drink enough fluids. Our bodied need that water to increase physical and cognitive performance. To make you realize how much you are lacking in this department, I want to say that an average man should consume at least 125 ounces of water daily, while a woman 96 ounces, which is about 12 cups. Keep in mind that I’m talking about an average man now, so if you are training every day, your goal is to drink even more. When you drink water or any other fluid, your stomach increases in size, which sends a signal to your brain saying that you are full.

*Third reason for being always hungry is not eating enough vegetables, I know they are not the tastiest things to eat, but they are necessary. Every day you should eat at least a handful of leafy greens or red tomatoes or yellow veggies such as carrots. The reason vegetables suppress that hunger is because they are about 90% water and they are full of fiber. Keep in mind that veggies have very few calories so you can eat as much as you want without breaking your caloric limit.
