How To Eat Carbs And Still Lose Fat
How to eat carbs and still lose fat
If your goal is to drop a few pounds, you don’t need to go on an extreme zero-carbs diet, it will be very hard on your body and on your mind. You can still eat carbs and lose fat, you just need to learn what kind of carbs you should put in your stomach. Eating carbs helps you keep healthy hormonal levels, for example it helps you boost leptin which is an appetite suppressing hormone.
Let me put it this way, the longer you diet, more of your leptin levels are dropping. So leptin levels getting lower and lower, means that your hunger sensation gets stronger and stronger, making your diet harder every day. That’s why it’s recommended once a week to have a “refeed day”, or a high carb day in other words, to reset your leptin levels. Eating enough carbs also keeps in check cortisol, which is a hormone that can cause loss in muscle mass, water retention, inflammation and increased abdominal fat storage.
What carbs should I eat?
A simple answer to that question is to only eat carbs high in fiber, because it’s a key nutrient for fat loss. In the next few minutes I will put together for you a list of high fiber carbs. Check it out:
